Swisher Sweets Irish Cream: taste, size and price
Swisher Sweets Irish Cream is one of the most popular Leaf flavors. Here is what it tastes like, what it costs and what to try next.
What Swisher Sweets Irish Cream tastes like
Swisher Sweets Irish Cream is a dessert flavor: chocolate and vanilla first, then a soft, creamy finish. The tobacco underneath stays mild, so the flavor is what you notice on every draw. Many customers say it’s the flavor they buy when they want a treat.
Size, wrapper and pack
It’s part of the Swisher Leaf line, so each cigarillo is 4.25 x 28 with a rustic Connecticut broadleaf wrapper over Caribbean Basin Cuban seed filler. You get 10 pouches of 3 cigarillos, 30 in all.
- Irish Cream Cigarillos, 10 Pouches of 3: from $31.20, about $1.04 each
There are two pouch prints: a standard pouch at $39.00 and a 3 for $2.49 pouch at $31.20. The cigarillos are the same. Choose the one you want on the Irish Cream product page.
How long one lasts
About 12 to 18 minutes at an easy pace. The broadleaf is a little thicker than a smooth Swisher wrapper, so it burns slower and tastes fuller.
Flavors close to Irish Cream
If you like Irish Cream, try Leaf Cognac for caramel notes, Leaf Honey for plain sweetness, or Swisher Black for chocolate and dried fruit in the smooth pouch format.
Keeping it fresh
The three-pack pouch reseals. Smoke one, close it, and the other two stay fresh for a day or two. Keep unopened pouches in a cool, dark place.
Irish Cream with a drink
Coffee is the obvious match, black or with a splash of cream. It also goes well with hot chocolate on a cold evening, or with a glass of cream liqueur after dinner. Because the flavor is sweet, a dry drink like black coffee or a stout keeps it from feeling too rich.
Who it suits
Irish Cream suits people who like dessert flavors but find the fruit Swishers too sugary. It’s also a good first Leaf cigarillo, because the creamy flavor softens the earthier broadleaf. If you prefer fruit, the Peach Brandy Leaf is the one to try next.
